  • University of Oregon Stamps Scholarship

The Stamps Scholarship is awarded competitively to outstanding incoming domestic freshmen. Approximately ten students, five Oregon residents and five out-of-state students, will be awarded this merit-based scholarship annually. This scholarship is provided by the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation in partnership with the University of Oregon.

Stamps Scholarship recipients will receive University of Oregon full resident tuition, fees, room, and board for four years of undergraduate study. Out-of-state recipients receive non-resident tuition and fees. All recipients benefit from up to $12,000 in enrichment funds to be used over four years to help pursue study abroad, unpaid internships, or other experiences. This award provides approximately $125,000 over four years.

In addition to unprecedented levels of financial support, Stamps Scholars are automatically granted admission to the University of Oregon’s Robert D. Clark Honors College.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Must be an Oregon Resident
  • Must be an incoming domestic freshman
  • A minimum 3.85 cumulative high school grade point average on a 4.00 scale
  • A minimum 1300 SAT or 28 ACT
  • Demonstrated leadership, perseverance, scholarship, service, and innovation

Stamps Scholarships are renewed annually for up to 12 terms of undergraduate study over five years (excluding summer terms). For renewal, recipients must be enrolled in and complete a minimum of 12 UO credits per term
and maintain a 3.25 UO grade point average.

  • Oregon State Park Scholarship

Oregon State Parks in partnership with the Oregon State Parks Foundation will be providing a minimum of $2,500 in scholarship funding for conference attendance, and will endeavor to increase this amount to $5,000 by June 1st. Scholarship opportunities include:

Two full-scholarships of $500: This scholarship is sufficient for two nights lodging, conference registration and gas money.

Two half scholarships of $250: Cooperative associations are encouraged to match these scholarships with $250 from their association, bringing the aid to one full scholarship.

Five gas scholarships of $100: This scholarship is meant to defray gas costs. Preference will be given to those carpooling.

Five conference registration scholarships: These scholarships will cover the full price of registration to the conference.

Scholarships will be awarded based on the following criteria:

  • Financial need
  • Distance from conference location
  • Number of participants from one association making use of the scholarship
  • Pathway Oregon Scholarships

PathwayOregon will cover full tuition and fees for qualified students, Federal Pell Grant eligible Oregonians will be covered by federal, state, and university grants and scholarships for four years. These Students will also receive the academic and personal support that will enable them to succeed and graduate from the UO within twelve terms.

PathwayOregon serves Oregon residents who qualify for the Federal Pell Grant and who have recently graduated from Oregon high schools. In addition to taking into account these two factors, the UO considers high school GPA in eligibility decisions.

Elegibility requirements:

  • Oregon residency
  • Graduation from an Oregon high school in the last two years
  • Admission as a first-time freshmen
  • A minimum 3.40 cumulative high school grade point average on a 4.00 scale
  • Eligible for a Federal Pell Grant as determined by the FAFSA

Students who earn less than a 3.40 high school GPA but meet all other program eligibility criteria will be considered for the program on a space and funding available basis.

As long as students remain eligible for the Federal Pell Grant, they are provided tuition and fees for twelve terms of attendance. Students remain eligible for the academic and personal support until they graduate.

Many PathwayOregon students receive grants or scholarships beyond the cost of tuition and fees. Your financial aid award letter will list any other scholarships or grants you are eligible to receive. Most students are offered a combination of grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study.

PathwayOregon scholarships have been given out to more than 3,000 students and could be what you need to get your college education.

  • Presidential Scholarships

Presidential Scholarships are awarded  to incoming freshmen from Oregon who have proven outstanding capabilities in their grades. Approximately 50 freshmen receive this scholarship each year, and the awarding process is highly selective.

Presidential Scholarships are made possible by the generous contributions of donors to the University of Oregon scholarship fund. Presidential Scholarship reipients will receive up to $36,000 over four years of undergraduate study—$9,000 per academic year.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Must be legal Oregon residents who graduate from an Oregon high school
  • must be incoming domestic freshmen
  • Have a minimum 3.85 cumulative high school grade point average on a 4.00 scale
  • A minimum 1300 SAT or 28 ACT
  • Also have a significant, demonstrated history of leadership and volunteer service activities
